About us
A small practice,deliberately
Mindora is a mental health practice in Nairobi. We see individuals, couples, families and workplace teams, in our rooms or by video.
Getting help shouldfeel ordinary
Most people in Kenya who want to talk to someone never do. Not because help doesn't exist, but because the route in is unclear, the cost is unknown until you ask, and the whole thing carries a weight it shouldn't. Mindora was built to remove as much of that friction as we could: a clear first conversation that costs nothing, a therapist matched to you rather than assigned at random, and a plain answer about fees before you commit to anything.

Four things wehold to
- 01
You keep the same therapist
Continuity is most of what makes therapy work. You are not passed between whoever is free that week, and you will not have to retell your history to a stranger.
- 02
Confidentiality has limits, and we state them
What you say stays between you and your therapist. The narrow exceptions — where there is serious risk to you or someone else — are explained in your first session, before you say anything.
- 03
Ending is part of it
Therapy is not meant to be permanent. You decide how long you come for, and a planned ending is a normal, worked-through part of the process rather than a failure.
- 04
We say when we're not the right fit
Some things need a psychiatrist, a specialist service, or something other than talking. When that's the case we will tell you and help you find it, rather than keep you.
